Dunluce Castle - County Antrim
Dunluce Castle. The dramatic ruin of Dunluce Castle forms the remains of the largest, most sophisticated castle on the Northern Irish coastline. Perched on a hundred foot high sheer cliff, the only way to enter is along a long narrow bridge overlooked by the battlements. The castle dates from the 10th century and the story of the castle is a story of the legendary ""Shorley Boy"", of the wild MacDonnells from Scotland and their terrible feuds with the O'Neills of Ulster, and the forces of the English crown.

Ha'Penny Bridge - Dublin
Ha Penny Bridge. Accepted as the symbol of Dublin, the Ha'penny Bridge (offically Wellington Bridge after the 'Iron Duke') was opened in 1816. Cast at Coalbrookdale in Shropshire in England, the bridge acquired its unofficial monniker from the toll paid to cross the river - one old half penny. The bridge is the only pedestrian bridge on the Liffey until the new planned bridge further up is constructed next year. The bridge has three lamps supported by curved ironwork over the walkway. Currently badly in need of repair, the bridge moves when being crossed. It is planned to close the bridge for restoration with the addidition of the new Millenium Footbridge.

Hang Be Market - Old Quarter - Hanoi - Vietnam
Old QuarterAs the oldest continuously developed area of Vietnam, Hanoi's Old Quarter has a history that spans 2,000 years and represents the eternal soul of the city. Located between the Lake of the Restored Sword, the Long Bien Bridge, a former city rampart, and a citadel wall, the Old Quarter started as a snake and alligator-infested swamp. It later evolved into a cluster of villages made up of houses on stilts, and was unified by Chinese administrators who built ramparts around their headquarters. The area was named ""Dominated Annam"" or ""Protected South"" by the Chinese.
