Leinster House - Dublin

Leinster House. On the north side of the Green is Kildare Street, containing Leinster House, the seat of the Oireachtais or Parliament of Ireland. Built in 1745 as the town mansion of the Dukes of Leinster, the house was bought by the Royal Dublin Society in 1814 and subsequently passed to the Government in 1992.. The public are admitted when the parliament is not sitting (advance notice required). Leinster House is flanked by the National Museum and the National Library.
