This site is a part of an ancient Jewish cemetary. The monastery at Abu Kabir has a burial cave which, according to Christian tradition, is thought to belong to Tabitha (Dorcas) whom St. Peter raised from the dead. Part of the ancient cemetery dates from the 1st century CE Busses: 1 & 2. Russian Orthodox.
