WHITEHERN. Visit Whitehern, a National Historic Site, set amidst ornamental terraced gardens in downtown Hamilton. The site was the former home of three generations of McQuestens from 1852 until 1968. Outstanding family contributions include developing the Royal Botanical Gardens, the QEW, McMaster University, restored Fort Henry, the Rainbow Bridge and Niagara Parks.
