CENTRE ISLANDToronto Islands Park occupies the harbor islands opposite the downtown area. The Park includes a boardwalk, beaches, bathhouses, boating lagoons, picnic spots, public gardens, play areas, rides, wading pools, tennis courts, bicycle rentals, tram rides, rowboats, canoes, a disc golf course, a pony ride and a children's farm. Centreville, an early 20th century themed family amusement park, contains bumper boats and cars, Ferris wheels and sky rides. Of interest are Avenue of the Islands, an illuminated promenade, and a lagoon with waterfowl.
