An oasis in the heart of the city, the Montr?al Biod?me recreates some of the most beautiful ecosystems of the Americas: the lush and humid Tropical Forest, warm even in the depths of a Montr?al winter; the Laurentian Forest, changing with the seasons; the St. Lawrence Marine Ecosystem, replicating the Estuary and the Gulf; and the Polar Worlds of the Arctic and Antarctic.. Plant and animal life abound all along the pathway leading through these different environments. Since it opened on June 19, 1992, the Montr?al Biod?me has been explored by more than 5 million people. Many of our visitors come back over and over again-just like Nature herself, the Biod?me promises a different experience every time.
