Georgia Dome. The Georgia Dome is the largest cable-supported domed stadium in the world. Located in the heart of Atlanta, the Dome is the home venue for the National Football League's Atlanta Falcons, has been named to host Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000, and was host to the gymnastics, basketball and the finals of team handball during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games and Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994. The Dome also hosted a portion of the National Basketball Association's Atlanta Hawks last two seasons, while their new home venue (Philips Arena) was being built.
