COLBORNE LODGE. Colborne Lodge,situated on a hill at the south end of High Park, was the home of Jemima and John George Howard and makes a great location for special events. This 1830s Regency-style cottage still has many of the original furnishings, as well as a coach house and display gallery. John George Howard was one of the city's first architects, a city surveyor, engineer and artist. He and his wife were the original owners of High Park. Guided tours are available.
