ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM. The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is Canada's largest international museum of natural and human history, with five million objects in its collections and over 40 galleries showcasing art, archeology and science. Created by the Province of Ontario in 1912, the ROM's permanent galleries, rotating exhibitions and public programs, as well as its excellent shopping and dining facilities, are enjoyed by more than 700,000 visitors every year. The Museum is located at 100 Queen's Park, in downtown Toronto (corner of Avenue Road and Bloor St. West), at the Museum subway stop.
