Sonoma House - Helsinki - Finland
Previous Next
Last year, a ""premium-class"" building was constructed in the heart of Finland's capital city. Situated next to the Finnish parliament, the Mannerheim National Monument and the new, controversial Museum of Modern Art, Sanoma House is certain to be one of the most impressive buildings in Europe's Cultural Capital 2000. The 100-year-old Sanoma Publishing House puts out the largest daily newspaper in all of Scandinavia, is one of the largest Finnish newspaper and book publishers, and holds shares, through the Helsinki Media Group, in one of the country's two nationwide commercial television stations.
